Thanks mang! I'll take some glamour shots when the sun is a little more friendly. The pics are all either too dark or blown out.

There's a slight touch of blue to it when the sun hits it which was not expected but also quite awesome. Not sure I'll bother with even grill clothing and piping the other baffles.

Now I need to decide on Fryette logo badge or not.

Looks good man.. Not quite the charcoal thing, but projects always have a way of finiding their own color! :D

Altho, how many coats of poly did you put? Spray can stuff is generally pretty thin, so you may need close to 8-10 coats to get some build up and protection..

Thats the polycrylic.. Waterbase finish can have a blue cast over dark colors.. Better than the yellow of oil-base!

Nah man, first wipe of the dye it just had a very apparent blue cast. The poly may exaserbate it for sure but I was really happy seeing it as I wanted a blue tinged black.

There's only 3 coats on there now. I'm going to grab another can for sure and build it well up. I appreciate all your help and answers for sure.

Dude, it looks awesome!!

Man, I know you didn't have your last Deliverance very long so if you keep this one, heed this warning: the impedance selector they use is absolute garbage and if you switch settings every now and then it WILL eventually fall to pieces in your hand  Ask me how I know :cop:

And replacing it without removing the power amp board (which I could never figure out how to do) is a fucking chore. You have about 1 square inch of space to solder in.

Your best bet is to pick an impedance and stick with it. I don't think I've changed the setting on my new switch even once :D

SLICK!! :star:

Is that satin finish you put on there?

About the logo, I think you should be original & paint JERETTE on there yourself using a bottle of WHITEOUT. That'll look soooo RAD!! :beavis:

I'm gonna take some pics with and see how I like it. The Fryette headshell are a little taller so the logo might be too oversized for the baffle. I'll post and poll. Doesn't mean I'll listen to the answer though! LOL!

Thanks man. I'm going to take it apart again next weekend and do a bunch more sealer on it. It's not QUITE as finished as I want it but overall I'm as happy as a little girl!

No dude. It's full on die cut metal. It's actually heavy for its size.
