I'm new to recording and trying to get better, so any input would be appreciated. This is a boom pop drums, just for timing. No bass or anything else. What do you think of the tone? Also is it too loud, bright, cluttered, etc. Thanks!

To be completely honest, there's absolutely nothing wrong with that tone at all. Volume is fine, I like the bite but it still has good low end, and the riffing is straight dope.
Just keep doing what you're doing. You got the ear (and the chops!) so it's just a matter of experience and the polished sound will happen. But like I said, as is this is a very usable recorded guitar tone.

That ain't bad. A little loud against the drums, but it's tough to find balance without the bass in there gluing things together.
I think you can definitely work with that tone though. Nice job on the riffin'.
