Marshall Cab Revamp
I am currently picking out speakers to replace the ones in my Marshall MG412 A and B cabs. My question is whether I can place two different speakers in the same cab? I plan on using a combination of Celestion G12K100s and V30s. If this wont work, would it work to put the V30s in one cab and the G12K100s in the other?

You can mix them - usually done in an X pattern to blend the two tones a little better. Also gives you the option to mic either one - although that can be a curse if you like the blended tone

Thanks! I just want to clarify though, that the speakers having two different wattages wont be a problem?

Not at all - your total cab rating will only be 4x the lowest rating, but no other issues from that.
The sensitivity of the speakers is more important - so one doesn't overpower the other. The V30's tree 100db and the G12K100's are 99db, so it wouldn't be an issue at all.
MOST importantly, make sure the impedances (ohms) all match, and they are wired up correctly.
