Need a pedalboard

Post by Elessar [Sly] »

So my pedalboard weighs a ridiculous amount, and is awkward to transport (no handle or cover, just 2 bin bags over the top to protect it from rain when transporting from car to studio etc.

This is what I need:

It needs to hold at least 10 pedals including a wah but leaving speace for power block (PP2+ size).
Be able to put velcro on to hold pedals in place
Be covered/have a case with handle.

I'd prefer not to pay over £100. I have seen options around but I'm not sure what would be best to get.

Thanks chops. VERY cool, and if I could afford something like that I'd get it! Some great options in there. But I need something a bit cheaper, and easily available in the UK.

You limeys do have lumber, screws, paint, and velcro in the UK, don't you? Doesn't take much to roll your own. Custom size and config is so much win. Just built one that'll hold 6-8 pedals and a wah, and it turned out real nice. Even if you're not real handy and have access to tools, a decent one could be made with just a handsaw, some sandpaper, and a drill.

I've got a castle cases one up on ebay, but it's only 50x35cm. Don't know if it'd be big enough.

What about Spider Guitar Effects Pedal Boards?

They're sold by Flightcase Warehouse in the UK.
