SR5005 bass?

Post by i386 »

I've never had a bass and don't know that much about them. I like smooth round woody shapes in a bass. This one looks cool, but I'm kinda getting away from Ibanez.

Is this a good bass?

Oh, and wrong forum fml.

Ibanez basses are great players and most of them have some really good tone. Even the low end ones are good to great. The 5005 is ridiculously nice, though most of the upgrade price is going into fancy wood working and its tone will be very similar to say, a 505 or 705. It may be a bit brighter or snappier than those just due to the wood selections made, but it'd still be in the same realm.
