Solution:

Day 1 - Lorenna McKennit at ear-killing levels.
Day 2 - Morbid Angel at conversation level.
Day 3 - Folk classics compilation, ear-killing level.
Day 4 - Classic rock, just over conversation level.
Day 5 - A comp of all of the above shuffle style. Start with the volume low and work it up to where, by noon, you have to scream to be heard over it.

By the next week he'll be using earplugs or just giving up on music altogether.

Don't get sad, get even.

Any portable PA's available in your office? We have a 300 watt portable PA that, when the one we refer to as giggles gets out of hand, we set up under the desk in one of the cubes and blast tech death through until she pipes down.

Also handy for screaming managers.

And "Sade, dis-moi...." is that stupid whispered lyric from that one Enigma song that was HUGE in the 90's

Yeah, it's french, or french related. I took two years of french and I just knew it basically said, "sad, is me"

You should blast Frank Zappa's Uncle Meat. That'll fix em.
