For a guy that does this as fun or a hobby, those programs are a mind fuck of epic proportions...the levels, the monitoring, compatibility between impulses/programs etc...it got to be a huge headache.

Enter this chain....I seriously recorded a guitar track, doubled it, threw a lead on it and added some chorus and reverb and exported it to Soundcloud inside of 5 minutes, the first time I used it.
There's no messing with input levels, the Jam does that. There's no messing with different track levels, GB does that.
I know GB is considered a noob DAW but fuck it, that's what I am. I'm pretty happy with it....I found an app that does drum loops, and Derek Buddemeyer sells 600 loops at a time for this app for like $10...gonna snag that on Thursday and see what's up with it. I'm pretty stoked...I'd throw up a clip but I suck and you guys would kick me off this forum lol.
Just wanted to throw it out there for guys that are using the Positive Grid stuff and want to try recording. This is seriously the easiest thing I've ever tried as far as DAWs go, and Audiobus is most definitely worth the $5.
