Agile guitars yay or nay???

All MIK last I checked. I have an AL3100 LP copy. Picked it up used for next to nothing, love it. No complaints.

Heard their price to value on the higher end stuff wasn't quite what it once was (I think their prices went up a little?) but the good ones are very solid guitars.

I think Cole has an ash tele...maybe?

I have an AL300M full maple 3/4 cap... Killer Les Paul... Paul in all but the name. I have it tuned down to dropped C now... sounds HUGE with the WCR pickups in it!

They're hard to beat for the money. Try and find a used one that's already been setup and had the pickups swapped. I still have an original Ghost and I had a pre-lawsuit LP. Both great guitars. I actually want to pick up one of the 27" scale AL's. I'm starting to hate tuning low with 25.5"

I have a TC-1200 and I love the hell out of that guitar. I did upgrade, in my opinion, the hardware, electronics and pickups. This plays really nice, sounds punchy and can sing!

The TC-1200 is an ash body with a 3/8" spalted maple top. The guitar came stock with noiseless single coils, but I replaced them with the much more outstanding Wilde L290TL and L280TN. The bridge got replaced with a Full Contact Hardware bridge. Then I added Schaller locking tuning machines and strap locks. Only aesthetic, but I added a 3-ply B/W/B pickguard that really complements the top. I should also note that the neck is single piece of maple, with an additional piece of maple glued on for the fretboard. The neck is easy to play and feels fairly narrow, which works great for chording. The radius is also 10", which actually feels a bit flatter than that; which I won't complain.

I highly recommend this guitar! I really feel that the $400 I spent on this guitar was a steel. I imagine you could get a great USA Tele for a few dollars more on the used market, but this particular guitar of mine sounds great to my ears! But best of all, it is really easy to play! I put it on Craigslist recently to fund a Tele shaped Yamaha Pacifica, but after I did I picked it up and played it, and the post was deleted immediately! I love this guitar.

Also mine was "hand crafted" in Korea... How hand crafted, I really don't know, but the frets were nicely finished and I couldn't find any flaws. Oh and the neck has a great satin finish on it that makes it quick to play.

Always ALWAYS check on their site. It always depends on their stock. You can even let them know to email you when it's available.

I really like my Agile interceptor. I totally agree that for lower tuning I need a longer scale. The 25.5 was great for b tuning but sucks for G.

As far as the quality goes, it's one of the best bang for the buck out there. A buddy if mine bought an import 7 string Jackson and hated it. Quality, fit and finish were sub par. He asked me what I use and told him about the Agile. He bought one and loves it. Ymmv.

I'm using a 25.5 scale guitar with a .60 on the lowest string, tuned to c standard. It's too damn floppy. Hoping to grab a 27" and keep the .60 but go down to B standard.

Yeah. It doesnt get played much since I play my gibby all the time. I need to restring it and put some nutsauce on it so it doesnt go out of tune so bad, and put locking tuners on it. It is a bitch to string though. Plays nice too.

They ok. I have an older one, and the fret are real soft on it. I don't know if they've fixed that on newer ones or not. They've also gone WAY up in price over the past couple of years, and aren't quite the value they used to be.
