Nice score brother! I actually was GASing hard for an Orange around the holidays when I played a nice used Thunderverb @ GC. Couldn't justify buying another amp when I have enough hard time sharing the love with my 3 amps as it is.

Congrats!! :thu:

Such as?

The jubilee? So awesome I got another one.

AC30? Great amp, not my style

Super sonic? Nice amp but again not my style

Mesa Rectos? I've said they're nice amps. My issue is that 2 of the 3 Mesa amps I've owned had issues.

Plexi? Wish I hadn't sold my 1987 to drae. The 1959 wasn't bad but too loud and didn't have the same vibe.

AD30? Good amp but did one thing well and several things not well. I still recommend it to people looking for a good pedal platform for fuzz.

TH30? I'll be honest, that honeymoon wore off and the clean channel choked some floppy dick.

Yeah, true Dat.

Both spare rooms are now kid rooms

Majority of my stuff is in storage until we get a bigger place. The orange is only here because it's going to the rehearsal studio this weekend. Otherwise the only amps I keep here are the mini Jube, the harmony 410 and the ad30vt.

You're damn near a pro, so I'm sure you get your pick

I'm a dork and hack so I weed through shitty noobs with crap gear that can't begin to keep up.

Too bad, but kinda weird. You live in a big city, compared to any Norwegian city that exists. Strange that there are nobody that used to be a good bassist, but now has a job and a family, and just want to jam and have some fun. Hell, I play bass as much as guitar, and I have good gear for both applications. (Often I tend to be the good bass player with a family and a day job, hehehe :D I'm a good guitarist, but a very good bassist)

stairs, yes. she doesnt do well on stairs. i did it, but wouldnt want to continue doing it. at all.

i roadcased mine, which makes it heavier but more mobile. but i proved last show that i could get the whole thing from the room to the truck. i still make my bass player help though.

You've flipped a ton of amps in your day. Far more than I have

I still don't believe you should have sold that jubilee when it wasn't working 100% but most gear flippers don't really care unless the amp won't turn on. Sad, dude.

Erm. Sold the Jubilee to the guy in Against Me!, he didn't have any issues with it.

We don't need to troll in the same manor everyday.

I'm happy for your Orange. They're solid amps. Not an OR120, but still cool.
