Um...the Kickstarter IS the pricing. This is just a chance to get in on the first lot.

I like the way it sounds but it seems like there should be more real estate between the effects loop and the speaker outs. That's nit picking though. That Les Paul in the vid was easy on the eyes but the way it was bouncing on the dude's belly was nauseating.

a couple years ago, I would have been all over this.....but after trying a few different budget MIC amps, and not liking them......

There's always this weird characteristic to them that I can't get used to. :idk:

Looks like a neat little amp. I didn't watch the video, but the style of the head makes me think it is supposed to be in the Dr. Z style?

The price is good for this but I honestly don't need another low wattage amp since I already have the 22H. I want a 50/100 watt EL34 version of this amp. I would easily pay another $150~$200 for that.

Still though, I wouldn't mind getting my hands on one of these smaller ones to try out, do some videos for, etc.

It's not the fact that they are MIC because the MIC egnaters kick all kinds of ass. Also, my 100H is easily just as good as our singer's DSL.

Thanks for all the good input here, fellers! Please spread the word on the project? I'm very eager to learn if this is a viable way to fund new amps without having to pay it all up front myself. If it goes, I imaging there are A LOT of potential projects to do.

True.

I didn't like the tweaker 40 or 88. Tried the blackhearts. Tried the reeves import.

This one does seem well thought out, and looks nice cosmetically.

The guts look Mesa-ish, but looks a bit sloppy and cramped. Doesn't mean it isn't a good sounding amp.
I'm just being a huge anus.
The tubes being counter sunk in the chassis is a bit odd too. Since some of that heat will hang inside around the cramped components.

Not shitty on your parade. Just something I'm seeing from a design stand point.

Faceplate has a Recto-ish vibe to it (minus the tacky diamond plating).

I *think* you can use the 8 ohm output to a 16 ohm cab without any issues but someone needs to verify that as I'm not 100% sure which way it's safe to go mismatching

I 100% agree, sounded very nice. The strat with the clean channel in "pushed mode" was cool too.
Sound like a lot of amp for $399.
