Hagstrom Swede/Super Swede

Post by LukeBurke1 »

Is it just me, or is the body shape look like it's supposed to be half-Les Paul, half-ES-335?

Very nice. Hagstrom make some really nice guitars. If they did their own brand of lefty Jag-type guitars I'd get one. I'm leaning less and less towards LP styles now. It still looks cool.

I really fancy the Tremar Super Swede, with 3 X 90s.

Kinda looks like a stretched-out Les Paul to me.

To me, it's as if the upper half is Les Paul, and the lower half (the cutout in particular) is that of an ES-335. It may just be me though, I wanted to see if anyone else saw it too.

I have owned 2 Swedes. 1 was a Select Swede & 1 was a regular Swede. The Select Swede was all veneer wrapped around what looks like particle board. I went to put strap locks on it and found this out. The regular Swede is multiple layers of ?? mahogany and after swapping out the electronics it turned out to be a nice sounding guitar and the guy I sold it to loves it. I on the other hand will never do again, especially for the price they want for a new one.
