I'm not huge into this genre but Wait Until Dark totally freaked me out in Junior High. Great slow burn and solid performances. I suppose it might be more of a thriller than slasher/horror/etc but FUCK YOU!

has anyone seen the troma film 'combat shock'? it's not like anything else in their catalog and is really quite amazing.

don't know if that is saying much as most of their catalog is kinda crappy (original Toxic Avenger excepted of course). i saw it and thought is was ok but it wasn't good enough for me to go out and buy it.

really i mean that it's not hokey and full of bad/good jokes like most of the others are. i thought it was really cool in a depressing sort of way.

also, little interesting factoid: the guy that played frankie, the main character also wrote and preformed all the music in the film.
