I had a chance to work with them (well, with their crew) when I was at Line 6, we made a custom DM4 in a rack format for The Edge, the DM4 is his main distortion to this day and I also helped them with MIDI mapping and stuff. I had the chance to see/hear his rack in person, which was awesome.

It doesn't. He is just as much of gear head as the rest of us. Only differences are that he can afford whatever the hell he wants and has a tech to take care of it all.
