Better yet, I would make a video of me playing Room 335, but I would use the Dumble as a dummy amp and actually play through a Metal Master into a Gorilla then wait for everyone to say how great it sounds.

Cant you basically get that tone out of any "big" sounding clean amp, and a TS / TS type of overdrive?
Strat w stock single coils, flipped on the neck position
mild overdive pedal
clean amp
What am I missing? Every "yuppie blues" guitar playe with a strat that Ive ever heard in person sounds like SRV... I dont get spending big $$$$ for that lol.

Most don't care.
That's why I said "some".
Your delusional if you don't think they love their collections over there though (like any gear forum), not that there's anything wrong with that of course.

The answer to what you all are missing, it's called "unobtanium".
Kind of like the Klon pedals, and other things that, had massive hype to them, then everyone had to have them, then mix in the fact that you can't get them, and human nature for some folks kicks in, and they want it in the worst way. Same reason why people buy pace cars, same reason some folks were paying just as much or more for a used available snax as an unavailable new one with a warranty and return period.
The more scarce, secretive, and hyped you make something, the more people will want it, even if they, deep down, can't tell you why. Crazy shit. It's quite funny to watch.
The two biggest things that folks miss is, whomever they heard playing that amp, was THAT person, with his or her fingers, either on an album or through a PA live. Joe Schmo will NEVER make that amp sound the same, in the room, to him.
I played a Dumble once, and A/B'd it with a Fuchs, and I liked the Fuchs better. Although, that is not my tone at all, so, I didn't enjoy either amp 100%.

Well you enter into a contact by bidding, it's in the user agreement. So they could take you to court to get you to pay? Most wouldn't bother but for that kind of money? Who knows?

Even better, I'd film myself playing Smoke On The Water on a crappy Epiphone into it through a Metal Zone while a friend douses the amp with lighter fluid.
Adding comical subtitles like the "Brick into the dryer video" would only add to the pleasure.
