I pretty much dig his guitar too. Fucking odd with 9 strings? Must be the only guy in the world that plays First Act walmart guitars professionally on stage. METAL!

those are custom shop, and a lot of artists and people play them. The bass player in the video has one too.

Apparently they're pretty sweet.

Both of the guitarists in mastodon have several of 'em. I'd love to have a 9 string personally. All your low strings are normal, but you get that doubling sound on your high strings. Fekking cool if you ask me.

High on Fire are awesome on CD, but weren't quite so enjoyable live. I saw them at the Opera House in TO, and to be honest, it was a very forgettable show. They played okay, but the sound was shit. It was like listening to someone use an angle grinder 2 feet away from your ear for over an hour. Could have been the sound guy, or the venue, or the band themselves, but either way, it was shitty.

I enjoy me some High on Fire. Quite a bit actually. I gotta be in the right mood, but its pretty awesome when I'm in that mood.

I was gonna buy thesockmonster's First Act Custom, but I couldn't get a hold of him anymore. It made me sad. He was practically giving it away.
