Any Budda guys make it over here?

Post by draelyc »

Whatcha got? What's it sound like? Likes/dislikes?

I'm about to talk myself into trying one again (after having tried one briefly many years ago & thinking it wasn't for me), now that my ears & my tastes have changed...

Post 'em, boys! :sarge:

Plus his unplugged electric tone... well... it exists.

I need to play another one.

I seem to recall it being one of the best amps I had ever played through. Of course my tastes have changed since then. I use to love mid gain crunch.

I mean that ac30 like focused mid range crunch. Or running a fender tube amp up loud with a ts9.

These days I'm all about huge. Fuzz and Marshalls

Sex Panther is using one and has been for quite a while now right?

I've always liked his boosted Budda tone.

Great amps! I had a SD30 2x12 combo. Honestly though , I prefer the Fender Super Sonic. Very similar dirty channel imo but as a whole , the SS is just more flexible and has a lot more options

2013 Gibson Les Paul Trad Pro II
1995 Gibson Les Paul Classic

Hey, mang -- your post about the SS was lost from my 1x12 combo thread in the move to the new servers ... thanks for the comparison here. That helps me a lot, actually, because I've played the SS much more recently.
