Did the depth mod on my JCA 22h, and I'm not hearing any difference. What could be wrong ?? Amp still works, by the way. LoL !!!

Don't mean to sidejack, but can you post instructions on how to do it?

I've been reading through that since its inception, but I'm more or less looking for a step by step guide. Maybe a book someone can recommend or a vid?

There's been a bunch of new info showing up on the mod thread over on hcaf in the past few days, including pics and video. I'm going to see if I can get them to post over here, too. The depth mod is real easy to do and made a huge difference on my 50h. Hardest part was committing to clipping the feedback wire and drilling the hole in the front panel. Well worth it, though.

Grime - thanks for the heads up. That's exactly what I'm looking for. Gonna start with the depth mod next week. :)

Here's a link to what I believe is the original depth mod instructions from VH4 (Duesentrieb), it that helps any:

http://www.harmonycentral.com/t5/Amps/N ... rue/page/3

scroll down for instructions and photo. The photo is of a 100H, but he's said it's the same process for the 20H at least.

Also, I've used a 250 pot in both my 100H and 20H and it seems to work perfectly. I'm not sure how the 1M pot would work as suggested by Borderline11 in his excellent description.
