Looks awesome! Has the approval of Sam Rami and Bruce Campbell. I am a huge fan and have actually been to the site where the original was filmed.
I dont think the remake will disappoint.

Trailer was freaky shit. Hopefully they don't pull a fast one on me and leave out the 'dawsons creek' dialog.

I just hope this means a kick ass remake of Army of Darkness comes along.... as for Evil Dead, I'm going to try and keep the original out of my mind while watching the new one.... this does look far freakier..

That's what I'm thinking. Looking forward t it.

Was telling Murdoch that he oughtta check out "My Name Is Bruce Cambell" . A good laugh, for the Bruce fans. He's the only reason I watch Burn notice lol.

Ive accepted that it's gonna be like most modern horror films, but hopefully it will be "decent"

Yeah. I recently watched Texas Chainsaw 3d, only BC it was supposed to take off where the original ended. It was OK just because of the way it payed tribute to the original, and the way some stuff was re-created. (the chick was hawt too). Other than that, it was too modernized, & sucked.

yeah. I'd rather it be done that way, than "re-imagined". At least that way, it doesnt totally f*ck it up

LOL. A buddy of mine had one of those. He bought it to run in a demo derby. I painted it purple & orange with a Wagner Power sprayer (like you paint a house with) & 10 cans of pumpkin orange Krylon.

There used to be a light yellow one EXACTLY like Ash's wip , that used to sit down the road from me. A little old lady had it.

Yeah.

You ever drove any of those old 70's / 80's tanks like that? Fun as hell on gravel roads.I always called em moonshine runnin' cars. Ive had some good times slidin' old Caprices, Olds 88's, Impalas, etc thru curves on gravel roads out in the county.

Ive even mud run a few

*raises rebel flag in front of a 70's single wide* lol

It makes an appearance in all of Sams movies. This however is not being directed/produced by Sam Rami.

They need to do a remake of Bubbah Ho Tep with Whoopie Goldberg as the lead.

Not sure how I feel about the remake. Evil Dead 1&2 and AoD are some of my favorite movies. I don't really know how they could improve upon the original, but they sure as hell could ruin it.

AGREED!

I saw the Evil Dead with my dad when I was 9 y.o., still remember that first screening, I thought it was an awesome movie then and now. I sorta hope that they keep true the original and almost do a scene be scene recreation with just better effects.

I'd hate to see it have the name and be completely different, like some sort of gov't psychic program or shit in the water or something

I'd love to see a remake of the Re-Animator... with the Dean going to get a piece! Love that scence, didn't know why when I was 13, but I loved it!
