So, I was checking out Viktorian guitars after an update from Premier Guitar Sunday. They are made of carbon fiber and darned expensive. I came across a prototype for sale and I jumped on it. I got a call a couple hours later from one of the owners, Josh, and he was still at the NAMM show. He wanted to know if I was one of their artists because the prototypes are supposed to be for their artists to evaluate. He told me there was a mistake and he would need to talk to his partners and give me a call once they got back home.
Today, Josh called me up and told me the guitar I ordered was going to the intended artist but they were going to send me a production Viktorian Ruth in 8 weeks AND they are putting me on their artist endorsers list. Needless to say, I'm going to be talking about Viktorian guitars a lot.

Well, I sold my AR15 so I can buy any model they offer now. I am having trouble deciding which one to buy though. I can get these guitars in any of these colors too. An El Grace dipped orange would be cool. I like the El grace dipped in seafoam green, the Ruth with orange wrap, and the Mark Slaughter sig model. There is also the option of all carbon fiber.
I love the El Grace's body shape. The size-to-neck ratio looks better to me than the Ruth and the lower contour looks like it would fit well on the leg playing in a classical style, which I how I do most of my practice.
Paint wise, I would try to get something unique to stand with the unique design and I am a huge fan of colors in the sea foam green to robin's egg blue spectrum, therefore I would have to support the dipped sea foam.
Analogman / Bludotone / Bogner / Fargen / Fender / G&L / JAM Pedals / King Tone / RMC / Skervesen / Strymon / Vertex

the Ruth with orange wrap,
What say you fellow GABers?
1) PERFECT time to sell your AR. I hope you got a ton for it. There's a real fear they'll all be taken away...but they won't be. You'll be able to buy it back in a year at 3 months ago prices.
2) The body style you have in the OP is sex.
3) That "dipped" option is FUCKING BOMB.
4) Can you do Dipped White?
My trash is whitest.
Good deals with: MHenson42, Vlady the Putinator, Valtiel, Fretless, Shane159, Exafro, LoopQuantum, Laura (The Valve Queen), ***1776***, 100Watt, Edge of Darkness, Ledvedder, SilverVox, Rikguitarstudio, Stompboxfreak72, jet66, JiveTurkey, Dolf, DoubleBarrel, RyanDistortion, legion...

1) I didn't get as much out of my AR as my army buddy said I could have gotten but I'm happy with what I got out of it. And yeah, I think this is going to blow over and I will buy a couple more to sit on until the next time they talk about banning them.
2) So you like the Ruth. I would like to get a Ruth and an El Grace but if I can only get one, I think I'm getting the El Grace because I have been wanting a semi-hollow guitar.
3)Yep, it's the carbon dip finish for me.
4) Yes, I can get any color they offer in the carbon dip or the crescent carbon and I think the white would be cool with a colored accent stripe. I'm leaning toward the Phoenix red carbon dip.
Probably going to take the family up to Denver during spring break and receive my guitar in person and tour the facility.
