Definitely a thick fuzz tone. I think he uses one of those Fulltone Octafuzzes.

I dig how when he goes fuzz he doesn't screw around.

Funny. I was just looking at this pedal. Trying to find a different synth-y/octave-y flavor for my guitar tone.

I like to hear fuzz tone like that when other guys play, but for whatever reason I don't like it for myself. But yeah, that's pretty dope right there.

What makes fuzz tones so awesome is what makes me have a problem using them in my own rig. The splat and the mess are great in other peoples rigs but I can't bring myself to incorporate that messiness into my own rig :lol:

I have a Dano fuzz and a Mooer Muff clone(?). They are both great sounding cheap fuzzes but they haven't made it on the board yet. Plus I don't want to fall down the black hole of $300 pedals :eek: :cop:
