Saw Iced Earth tonight.

First time too. Never saw them with Barlow or Ripper. This was pretty spur of the moment too. Band sounded very tight. Schaffer's tone cut very well and his right hand was in top form. Stu Block sounded great. In a live setting he does the Barlow tunes very well. Set was pretty good. A mix of Dystopia, Plagues, Something Wicked and Dark Saga mostly with a couple odds and ends thrown in. Guitar wise Schaffer had his usual Gibsons. Their lead player had a super strat I was unfamiliar with. Amps I could see a 900/Marshall (I think Jon runs his Larry preamp into that) and a Splawn. Overall great show. Now I can't hear.

+ is a bit less angry, like maybe a 35 year old man angry.

I believe the other guitar player plays Splawn guitars, unless he's changed
