Hi,
I am trying to find sounds for my next EP, and I did a tonetest.
Don't pay too much attention to the partially sloppiness in my playing here....
What do you think of the guitar sound on this?
I have not started working on the drums and bass sound yet, so this is mainly for the guitars....
any feedback is much appreciated.

edit:
here's a different version using different amp models....
does this sound better than the first one?

Thanks,
Lars

Tone and playing is DOPE. Not really my bag, but DOPE nonetheless.

The first one is bigger/ballsier but the second one sits in the mix a little better.

Re: tonetest-what do you think of the guitar sound?
here's the same tones as first clip but this time I used my EBMM JP7 instead of the Sterling JP70....
I don't think I hear a difference....(except my playing being a bit more sloppy in this clip)
https://soundcloud.com/larsbauer/tonetestv1-0-3
and here is one more clip, back to the JP70, but different patches, I tihnk this one is my favorite of all of them:

what do you guys think?

Ditto on the first two. I couldn't hardly hear a different in the second pair, but I'm listening cheapo desktop speakers.

Thanks!
I'm thinking of also changing the drums and bass sound, so that might have a really big impact on how the guitars will sound in the mix, too...
