Decent USB mic for iPad 2?

Post by c_corie »

Have a Blue Snowball it distorts on like anything loud...and sounds meh. Any decent usb mics out there that could actually can handle being up on a cranked amp or near a drum set. I've used the pad and lowered the volume into garageband and it still clips sometimes on loud sources. I'm not trying to get super amazing quality but I just can't deal with a mic distorting on loud sources.

I don't think there is such a thing as a quality usb mic. I can only suggest getting a usb interface and using whatever mic your budget allows. i.e. - An SM57 or something cheaper.
