Stevie Ray Vaughan guitar cover using my Kemper!

Post by Benellerguitars »

GET DEM BLOOZ….. Time to play some grown up music for you all for a change! Hahaha Stevie is one of the only blues guys i'm really into honestly… his playing constantly blows my mind. The fact that he played so aggressively and expressively on such a brutal setup is ridiculous too! I decided to pay tribute to His Greatness by being completely blasphemous and covering one of his tunes using a swirled Japanese Ibanez Rg470, strung with 9-42 strings, loaded with Humbuckers, and running into a digital Kemper Profiler. I got it all wrong hahaha
I'm using the Dimarzio Super 2 in the bridge and Chopper in the neck. I've got the Tele mod going on in the bridge pickup (removed of the pole pieces from the inner side on the E A and D, and the outside pole pieces on the G B and e), and the wiring is such that i am playing the outer coils of both pickups in parallel. Its weirdly Fender-ish! ANyway, enjoy! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q-cFz48cem0

Great playing as usual man.

I've been watching your This Is Why You Suck At Guitar series, :thu: funny and informative.
