CSB; Fallen in love with my amp head.

Post by Cirrus »

Just got back from a gig, the first I've tried with my ac100cph+ open back 2x12 with v30 and gold. Man, I love that amp. I know it gets mixed reviews from some here (iirc Dolf hates them) but man I'm loving this one. I had the 50 watter last year and sold it, then found myself missing it. So picked up this thing, and fuck it's better.

So much headroom. So much clarity. So much balls. The overdrive channel on first play is very fizzy and dark. But, max the treble, bring the presence all the way down, and it fixes it. Just a clear distortion with just the right cut without being harsh. Ima have to do some clips. I used a radial head switcher to a/b through the same cab with my tremoverb before I sold that, and they're not as far off once the ac100 is dialled in as you might think- both inherently dark amps with plenty of gain. The ac100 is just a Bit more dynamic and has more low mids.

Good effects loop, tasty clean channel.

Feels good man. B-)

I've wanted to try one of those for a long time. HOAD!
