Pre-Amp Filtering

What would be the differences between using 50+50 cap compared to a 32+32 cap. I've seen it both ways im various old Marhsall, NMV and MV amps.

Currently have a 32+32 in my 2204 style build

Low filtering in the preamp may cause ghost notes, Liam.
