It sounds ok to me. Nothing great. Typical Engl compressed to shit tone but it's not bad.

I think it would be a nice amp for about 600 dollars. Bet its closer to 1200 though.

I bet it sounds good. Probably meant to compete with the Mesa mini Rec and new H&K Tubemeisters.

Pricewise I'd most likely rather have a 5153 50w or go for an affordable JCA.

Hmm, I'll check that out at home. If it sounds like all the other Engls, I doubt I'll like it. I so wanted to like the Powerball but the tones and the build quality didn't justify the cost so I got my Road King from Lewp last year.
