Veterans Day

Post by RustyMetal »

A salute to all the veterans and the unseen and often unappreciated job they do.

Freedom is not free.

Politics and personal opinions about our wars aside, it's one hell of a job you boys and girls do for us.

Salute and God Bless!!!

I was one signature away from enlisting back in 1991. One fucking signature. I got skeptical and walked out. The recruiter chased me to my car. I still regret that choice everyday. I would have grown up a lot sooner than I did. I scored so high on my ASVFAB, the phone didn't stop ringing until I was 25. The mid '90s would have been the perfect time to be in too.
