My bass player just bought one last month, we went on a trip to San Diego with it. AWESOME ride, really comfortable, great gas mileage (for its size) spacious, tons of cool gadgets in the dash etc...

Best decision ever dude. My ex used to have an Audi that I thought was awesome until the first time I saw a maintenance bill...

I like what Ford have been doing the last few years. The Ecoboost F-150, the Focus ST and the Fiesta ST are marvels of engineering. The Shelby GT500 has brute strength. There are many other good looking cars in the lineup that (allegedly) are blatantly ripping off the Aston Martin design language (see the Fiesta, the Fusion, and arguably, the Taurus).
I like that they didn't directly rape the 'murrican taxpayer with a bailout package (they still got some of dat sweet gubment cheeze tho). I like that they are at least making an effort to make desirable cars under their flagship sports car (Camaro ZL1 is *barely* less than a Corvette... Dodge... LOL).
That being said, currently I'm driving a ~20 year old Lumina, and half-ass looking at upgrading to some early-00's AMG or M series Kraut-muscle if and when it craps out (unlikely since I *just* hit 62000km on it LOL). For fun I ride a 2007 GSX-R 750 during the short Canadian summers that's way faster than any car I'll ever own, by quite a margin I think.
Can't go wrong with a Ford. I have a 1998 F150 with over 276,000 miles on it. Still hauls ass and is in pretty good shape - all things considered. Good luck with the new ride(s)...
