The smoothie tutorial...

Post by madryan »

In honor of my breakfast thread this morning I decided to take pix of my smoothie I made this evening and sort of outline the process.

I added some stuff too. I've been experimenting with Brewers Yeast for protein and I also tossed some grapes in for sweetness rather than honey.

Ingredients...

It's common practise to heat your frozen berries because of the possibility of listeria and salmonella in them. Fresh berries are fine without that since you usually know where they're coming from. Frozen strawberries could be picked in China for all you know.

Google "frozen berries" and you'll see what I mean.
