That skillet is going to need to be seasoned, lucky for you this only takes 10 years. Hopefully you have a high quality freezer that utilizes antioxidant deep freezes of the cyrogenic variety.
Next time, goto good will or a thrift store. Find a skillet there from a deceased old woman's estate. Preferably one that is old as fuck. Much easier, baby.
