And I noticed slash was playing just a regular old production model Les Paul traditional gold top just like the one I have. I mean it's a fucking amazing guitar, but it just struck me as odd he would be playing such common and new guitar. I just figured he would be playing some killer vintage LP or something.

Yup, I watched them play Sweet child and I think paradise city. It was Slash, Duff, Steven Adler, Gilby Clark, and some skinny hick looking dude that sounded pretty damn close to Axel.

Disco lol He sounds completely different than what he sounds like today. When I think of his music, I think of him power metal yodeling over a WWE theme song. I love me some power metal yodeling, don't get me wrong; I would just rather have appropriate music accompanying it. And from that video, he is def. a killer guitarist
