I love rosewood. I'm just saying on a blacked out guitar, why wouldn't you put ebony?!?! The brown kind of ruins the blacked out look, you know?

I don't know about "in these shops", but there are plenty of guitars in that price range with ebony boards. At the very least they could die the rosewood dark. They did that on my 256 and it looks good.
