I've been trying to pay more attention to the local music scene, such as it is, despite the fact that it mostly sucks, and there's way too many dudes here that just discovered the whole black metal facepaint thing and apply it no matter what style of rock or metal they play. It gets tough to wade through sometimes, but I did finally discover something worth listening to and these guys are legit.

It's unfortunate they're stuck doing live shows with some of the other bands around here at the moment, as a lot of people will leave the venues when the more meh bands play and miss the good stuff.

But I can no longer say the local music scene is entirely shit. And for that I am thankful.
