Where did you hear that? The movie is called Batman vs. Superman and is supposed to be be somewhat based on The Dark Knight Returns (because if there's one thing Snyder loves its making bad film adaptations of fantastic 80s comics) so it's hard for me to imagine Batman will only have 20 minutes of screen time.

I know that "The Dark Night Rises" did not exactly follow "The Dark Night Returns" but...Wasn't that the adaptation? The only thing missing was Batman plugging into the streetlight to beat the shit out of Superman. (Sorry about the nerd reference but at my age I don't care...So I'm not sorry).

at the announcement @ Comicon they quoted a section of dialogue from that same story arc where an older Batman kicks superman's ass... but right after they did the reveal they said that is not what their story will be based on.

I have a slip-cased hardcover collection of Frank Miller Batman comics. Year One, Wanted: Santa Claus-Dead or Alive, and Dark Knight Returns. So, no worries about being a nerd.

Apart from a kinda similar name it really didn't have anything to do with the Dark Knight Returns. It was mostly elements of the No Man's Land and Knightfall story arcs with a few other things thrown in.

From Nerdgasmatic off of facebook:

Justin Timberlake Wants To Be The Riddler Opposite Ben Affleck's Batman

When Ben Affleck was named as the next Batman the internet was flooded with Batfleck backlash instantaneously, ranging from outraged tweets, to snarky memes, and even a petition begging for Warner Bros to reconsider the casting decision. But Hollywood was quick to step up and defend the actor who also happens to be a Academy Award-winning writer (Good Will Hunting) and producer (Argo). Dedicated comic book-lover, writer and Avengers director Joss Whedon tweeted his support. Batman Forever-era Batman Val Kilmer demanded we give Ben a chance, while Affleck’s bosom-buddy Matt Damon said said he’s got the chops to handle the cape and cowl and then some.

Joining this chorus of support is pop star turned movie star Justin Timberlake, telling Jim & Kim on Fresh 102.7 (via MTV) “Ben Affleck as Batman, I like it. I worked with Ben last summer and I've seen his process. I think he's a brilliant filmmaker. I think he's an extreme talent, so he could surprise a lot of people."

The movie shoot Timberlake refers to was for the Brad Furman-directed crime-thriller Runner Runner, which is coming this fall. Asked if he’d be willing to pair up again with Affleck—perhaps as his Robin—Timberlake was quick to shoot that down. "Not a chance in hell," he exclaimed. "I ain't playing Robin. I have no aspiration to ever be a superhero in a movie."

His lack of desire to be a superhero can be added to the stack of ways Justin Timberlake is not like the rest of us along with his incredible ability to sing, and dance, and act, and do comedy, and pull off fedoras, curly hair, or even corn rows. But don’t count Timberlake out of the superhero movie craze all together because there is a role he’d be game for:
"Now villain. I'll tell you the villain I want to play more than anything because I grew up loving Batman, funny enough, is the Riddler. The Riddler is my favorite villain... The Riddler was like a sociopath. He was proper crazy. So if I'm gonna play crazy, I'm wanna play proper crazy... I'm ready. The Riddler. Gimme a call."

While this casting possibility will likely incite a whole new rash of fanboy/fangirl gnashing of teeth, for now it’d be over nothing. We have had no suggestion that The Riddler will have anything to do with Man of Steel’s sequel. But for what it’s worth, I like this idea. For me, the Riddler was defined by Jim Carrey’s loose-limbed unitard-sporting spark plug in Batman Forever. I think of the character as not just criminally brilliant but also with a larger-than-life energy. That would fit JT to a tee.

Well, dudes, remember; Pym built Ultron. Key word "built," in that Spader is going to be the voice of the Ultron robot. I mean, they'll take some liberties with his design, I'm sure, but he's gonna be CGI from the bolts to the blueprints. Which means we're not going to see James Spader run around in silver face-paint, or anything. Not my first choice, I suppose, but I don't find it objectionable. Solid choice, good luck to the man.

This was my first thought, he will be entirely CGI and the voice will probably be run through a lot of shit to make it sound all roboty. It kinda doesn't matter who does it :idk: Plus Marvel has thus far done a pretty stellar job casting people in the Avengers universe so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.

I really don't care who plays Batman because I don't have very high hopes for that film but if it was up to me I'd make him all CGI too and let Kevin Conroy do the voice  .

Does anyone even give a fuck about guardians of the galaxy? I've seen pretty much every superhero movie and I couldn't give two shits, they were the dollar store toys of the 80's and the comics sucked ass.
