I pulled a cab apart to fix the tolex that had peeled up and my drill shit the fkn bed...thought it was the batteries seeing as none of them had been charged in a long ass time...charged one for about 40 minutes and nothing but the smell of burnt armature

Cheap...and never needs a charge. I hate cordless drills.

The batteries on the newer drills charge pretty damn quick. Ryobi is a good brand too on the cheap.

Rigid has a drill / impact driver lithium ion set for like $100. This is a very good deal and the impact driver will make you feel silly for using anything else

Electric impact wrench? Does it generate enough torque?

I don't think I've ever used a drill for what it was actually meant for.

Ohhh wait, I'm confusing drill with something else.

More than enough torque for what you would need it for. It won't strip screws as bad as you probably would with a drill
