I dated a Korean chick who wouldn't eat the food her mom would cook before any of our dates because she was very aware that a lot of the way their food is prepared and the amount of garlic and certain spices they use created a bodily odor that most American men found repulsive. One time when I went to her house she had her mom make this big-ass pot of tea. Not to drink, but to create a different odor in the house and overpower some of the residual odors from their cooking. It was super considerate. She was a cool chick.
