Yep, the ignorance is very strong with these folks. This stuff is getting out of hand fast. Hate breeding hate with the media and US government fueling the fire

Was going to say, I think there's a lot of people who are really not racist, or historically weren't. Truly normal people.
But the media and all the other shit pitting one race against eachother quickly draws a line in the sand and by nature, people are going to side with their own kind. Guaranteed.
What the hell do people expect when they turn on their television and hear from clueless black people scream the white man this, the white man that. Or when black people see some toothless trailer tard going on about blacks with HIV and welfare checks, or the Mexicans having 50 kids on welfare. Obviously when a certain group hears that stuff, their first response is to assemble into their like-kind, get defensive and respond.
The news has every right to air this shit because they have protected speech, but they really ought to start thinking twice and have some responsibility and savvy when airing certain clips.
You almost always see these opinions on television, 99% of the time anyways.

I don't. I don't know how to really respond to your post though. Just because something is on TV doesn't mean you have to get swept up in emotion and everything, and throw away half your brain, ya know? If you do, then you obviously can't handle modern media.

99% of people are morons. These morons watch TV all day.

I don't disagree with you at all Meelosh, but just look at what happened with the Zimmerman situation. People on this very forum are caught up in their emotions and are acting . . . well not very inteligently. Some folks simply can't watch the evening news without getting emotionaly involved. It's a shame.

Some of us can actually think for ourselves, but unfortunately there are a lot that can't, won't, or just too lazy. They will eat up whatever the media feeds them. They see one person not like them say something or do something and then lump all of those type of people into one group to fuel their hate. Plus, there are a ton of people that just jump on the bandwagon once one person says something. It's a crazy screwed up world.

the thing is, you think and behave based on what you "know", if the media is feeding you half the information you act accordingly, so it's not really an issue of people being dumb but more an issue of people trusting the media to give the full story to let them make their decisions. What's good is people are slowly starting to realize that they can't trust them to do that anymore but still not everyone has learnt to take what the media feeds them with a pinch of salt.
There are still definitely a lot of racists here and abroad. It's taking longer than it should've for humans to evolve beyond hatred and bigotry. I'd like to think we'll see it in my lifetme but I'm not holding my breath. There have been lots of different races and gays for the entire history of humanity people, get the fuck over it already.
I see and hear racist shit practically every single day. Sad, but that's reality.
Must be because you live in red neck country Joking joking.......I don't live that far from you, lol

I only use hand wired boutique amps built by 107 year old Tibetan monks who chant gibberish whilst soldering them together. Ohhh, and Boss Metal Zone pedals too... >>> Proud member of the Jet City Lounge <<<
This is quite possibly the most racist thing I've ever heard
Trayvon Martin's Parents
If He Were White, 'This Never Would've Happened'
"It's sending a terrible message to other little black and brown boys that you can't walk fast, you can't walk slow. So what do they do? I mean, you can't walk home without people ... assuming that you're doing something wrong. Trayvon wasn't doing anything wrong."

Devin wrote:^ Of all things, THAT is possibly the most racist thing you've ever heard?? Consider yourself lucky!
I've heard things about a million times more terrible than that. Hell, what they said is probably true.
It's ironic...... ........racist people calling every one else racists. But no one will say anything about it because if they did, Al Sharton, Jesse Jackson & the other race traders (people who make money off of race issues & publicity) would be all over them.
let's put it this way...........if a white person said that, would it be considered racist ?
If so, then why isn't anyone calling her a racist ?
