Ford Pinto owners?

So it seems like all the cool kids own Pintos and it can apparently be registered as a classic car in places, yay!

A friend, many years ago, had a Pinto just like that with a 289V8 in it. Car fucking ripped.

There used to be a man here in town that had a pinto wagon that had a 302 in it.

I used too know a guy who bought up Pinto's to run in demolition derbys. For some weird reason,guys who run the class for compact cars like them.

LOL, i dont think id want to do demolition derbies with a Pinto, they burst into flames too easily

In a demo car, you remove the gas tank. They put fuel tanks (like ones in fishing boats) where the back seat would normally be.

I had a '79 Pinto.
Hated/Loved it.
And I had the All-Glass rear window - SUCK IT!!!!
Looked just like this:

30 mpg all day long at 75+ mph.
Good burnouts, 2nd gear rubber, all from the stock 2.3L and 4 speed.

It was - I always wanted to drop a 302 into it.
