If making money while playing guitar, drinking beer and watching girls dance is wrong, I don't wanna be right.

Not at all my friend. I miss writing and playing my own stuff but with three kids it's hard to do. I love playing and the cover band I'm in allows me to do that. Enjoy it!

Open bar tab too! I do have to drive home, though, so I can't exactly take advantage of that.

Not a bad monday night, eh?

People actually show up for cover shows, so yeah...getting paid to drink beer and play guitar.

Win-win for me.

Getting paid to play easy stuff...

What's the issue? That bought like half my gear I acquired last year.

15 years ago I would have said sell out.

Now I would be happy to play in a 90's cover band... But I am too lazy to learn the songs :o

You should do it :)

I'd say awesome rocker dad :thu: Playing guitar in a '70s rock cover band has been the best thing I have done for my playing in years. It forced me to practice and I get to learn a bunch of killer songs I grew up air-guitaring to as a kid  And as someone else said; people actually show up and you get paid!
