Storm Chasers

Post by GAS KING »

It's on Netflix.

First season, part of two was fantastic.
After that......why did it get so produced?
It's nearly unwatchable.
Sad.

Because that's what educated producers do.

Find something cool, then micromanage the fuck out of it to the point that the element that once made it attractive to them in the first place, is now gone.

Kind of like coffee with cream. Man, the cream really makes a cup of coffee somethin' else. Normal people like you and I stop right there. It's perfect. We drink it every day with a smile.

Enter a producer that went to college and you know what he does? He pours half out, fills it to the too with more cream. Sips it, fuck, this sucks. Then spends the next 2 seasons with the vanilla powder shaker in one hand, the nutmeg in the other and a stirrer in his goddamned mouth trying to recapture the magic it once had.

But it's too late. You fucked it up.

exactly.

by season 3, everything the cast says sounded rehearsed (many cut scenes with them saying a blurb about saftey or some other BS)..........or they scripted human drama/tension edited into the show.

MF'ers. I don't typically like reality shows, so it's pretty annoying that they ruined it.
I understand a show has to progress and change..........it's not that........

I suppose that's the problem with entertainment these days in general..........fucking gotta have everything screened by a focus group, and revised to appeal to the masses to maximize profits

Things with warts are much more appealing.
