My drink be the Devil's Cut. Perfect by itself on ice. Even good straight.

Though I don't turn up my nose at anything, really. So long as it doesn't make me choke, I'm good.

It's surprisingly good, but I love that kind of flavor. My personal favorite is Stranahans, but since its $60 and not readily available usually I tend to go to my more common favorite in Eagle Rare.

I'm not a fan of honey really and super sweet whiskey isn't my thing. I don't like regular jack, so I can't imagine more honey sweetness would help things out. :)

Fortunately for sellers, my tastes are not the end all be all they would be if I was world ruler. WHY AM I NOT WORLD RULER?

And that's why I haven't had a shot of Jag since 2006. The last time I did I ended up lobbing a loaded pair of my underwear over my neighbors fence and into his backyard.
  :usa:

JEEZUS! Now THAT'S a jag story.

Only good one I've got is the time I rode the 400 miles out to Rapid City during the windiest day of the year on the motorcycle, completely dehydrated, then went out drinking with my cousin. My dad shows up late and starts buying jag shots for everybody at the bar. Somewhere around shot six, after about five hours of beer and whiskey, I started seeing the group from somewhere over the table, like my mind had left my body.

I woke up the next morning determined to go show that fucker, hop on my bike, ride over there, then whip his ass in a race up the hills. Jumped out of bed, stumbled, fell down, managed to belly crawl my way to the tub and run water over myself until I almost felt human. Apparently dad had made it to his mom's house that night, but just walked in, left the front door open, took off his clothes in the living room, then passed out face first in the hallway before getting to the guest room.

This is why family shouldn't drink together.

There was also an amusing story that night about some girl flirting with dad and him asking her if she had a grandma that was available for him.

And Jager is the queen of the pointy-knee prom. I fuckin' lover Jager; this is largely a function of my love of black liquorice, which apparently puts me in a very small minority of people. Far as I'm concerned, it's like drinking a Good & Plenty. Which is fucking awesome, you goddamned knuckle-dragging troglodytes.

Whoa, whoa, whoa, scale it back on the "fuck Good & Plenty" line there, pal. Ain't no reason to be going off on the fine people who make candy-coated liquorice. All they did was fucking DOMINATE.

In related news: fuck cinnamon. Like, Big Red, Red Hots, Fireball whiskey, fuck alla that. Cinnamon flavoring is only acceptable in sugar form. Otherwise, it's the devil, and I will beat it out of you with a belt, a bible, and three cloves of garlic.

What he said. I'll choke a bitch who messes with cinnamon.

It's considered less than impressive in social circles around these parts, so I'll make this a confession more than a statement, but this means I also love me some goldschlager.

Brendan....dude. You like black licorice but hate cinnamon? I...I....words fail me.

I feel like I don't even know you anymore.

I hate black licorice...but...apparently the small amount of anise in absinthe is doable.

The flavor of black licorice doesn't really class anything up.

Possibly "ass" it up. Is that what you meant?

I am currently sipping on some Kentucky Deluxe that I bought when I was in Tennessee ironically enough. I know it's cheap rotgut, but it's actually not half bad.

Spending the weekend at a hotel with about 100 other nerds so there is bound to be some serious drinking going on. I will be bringing the honey whiskey and some Kraken spiced rum. I can't wait to see what everyone else brings to the liquor "swap meet." :thu:

I'll post a "Nerd Weekend" thread with regular updates. Basically, it will be 100 guys playing Warhammer and drinking all weekend. We also stay at the hotel where the event is held so no one has to drive. Shit will get real.

I never liked Jack. I was always a Makers Mark & Jim Beam Black (Jimi Beam) kinda guy. Never cared much for Tennesse Whiskey. My rule of thumb whiskey wise, was always, if it ain't made in Kentucky..it sucks.
I quit drinking shortly after I met my wife. I had a drinking problem lol.

I used to like that Evan Williams Honey Whiskey dumped in a good strong cup of black coffee. Made a great breakfast on days I didn't have to work. A Xanax washed down with it as well. Always was a good start for a day I planner on drinking most of the day. If I felt like hell already, I'd throw a BC headache powder in for good measure ha ha.
