It is. I find it hard to handle, personally, but I like my booze super dry.

Honey Jack is perfectly suited to be a sweetener in a really tart lemonade. It's really way too sweet for me to take straight or on the rocks by itself.

There's a new Honey Jim Beam out I'd like to try. Beam is much more palatable on its own to me normally, so I'd imagine the honey Beam is a little less harshly sweet than the Jack.

I've seen that there's a honey Seagrems too but I've never tried it either.

Honey Jack can bee too sweet, but I remember a few times at band rehearsals and shows we passed a bottle around and killed it within minutes. It's not too bad.

Ya thats all Jack needs is more sugar. :D Its like that Fireball Cinnamon whiskey everyone is pimpin' now. Full disclosure: I've drank some of that shit on a cold winter night.

I'll try this honey shit too just cause I like to party. This sushi place in town called Imperia has honey infused sake that is pretty boss.

Shots of it from the freezer are pretty palatable, though. On the rocks = about 40 degrees; from the freezer = about 18 degrees...enough to round off the sweetness. Also gets you hammered with quickness, if that's your goal.

Lulz, fireball is about the only "whiskey" I can halfway stomach. Gives me bitchin heartburn sometimes though :(

My stomach is more like a vagina when it comes to liquor  :D

Freezer liquor is Vodka (for the quickness) or Jag (for the :freak: ). I've never been tempted to keep whiskey in a freezer.

You're probably right though. The freeze would knock that sweet back quite a bit.

Or you could just buy a whiskey that they didn't add honey too. That's what I'll stick to doing. :cop:

My drink be the Devil's Cut. Perfect by itself on ice. Even good straight.

Though I don't turn up my nose at anything, really. So long as it doesn't make me choke, I'm good.

after playing the field, i mostly drink the regular Jim Beam from the bottle.
but only on special occasions, as that stuff can do some damage.

Honey Jack is smooth, but too sweet for me. Even mixing it with soda or iced tea. I've got a bottle in the pantry that will probably be there for a while.
Now give me a glass of Woodford Reserve neat and I'll be fine.

you put this stuff in the freezer and it's SUPER awesome... you don't taste the tequila AT ALL

for my buddy's Bachelor party I froze a bottle in a bowl, heated the outside of the bowl a little so the ice would release... it... was...magical... Bottle of Cafe Patron is its own personal ice block... .needless to say a party was had that night!

My cousin raves about the Seagram honey whiskey, so I bought a bottle and thought it was crap. I won't buy that stuff again.

It's surprisingly good, but I love that kind of flavor. My personal favorite is Stranahans, but since its $60 and not readily available usually I tend to go to my more common favorite in Eagle Rare.

And that's why I haven't had a shot of Jag since 2006. The last time I did I ended up lobbing a loaded pair of my underwear over my neighbors fence and into his backyard.
