I may be one of the few that really like the 3534, and I don't have a super noisy loop like a lot of dudes have complained about. Seems this new revision makes it the way it should have been from the start though. I don't really know if it's worth another $1k on top of what I bought my 3534 for though, but I am super curious about rolling into one.
50 watts? Check Quiet loop? (yet to confirm)/check Less compressed sound? (Allegedly)/check White knobs ? Check
Buy a new 3534 50 watt, or a used 101b for roughly the same price . . . ?
I really can't recall how good or bad the 101b effects loop is, but damn those 101b's sound righteous.
I think if the new 50 watt had a variac mode (or is it Old/New switch?) on it I'd be more inclined to go that route
I only had the Uberschall. The loop was pretty good I no issues at all with it. I assume it's the same loop for all Bogner amps so it's not an issue. What noise issues did you have with it? Mine was dead quiet. The key is to balance the channel volume and the Loop out level. When the loop is engage the channel volume becomes the loop send level. It was a little confusing at first but once I got the hang of it it worked well.

There are quite a few complaints of excessive hiss in the loop. Bogner's manual says you may need to upgrade your cabling to get rid of the noise, but if those same cables are quiet in other loops then I think the loop is the issue. Mine doesn't have a lot of noise so I think I'm one of the lucky ones.
