That's killer man!! Do you k now what pickups this V came with? Doesn't sound like the typical V pickup (500t, I think?) This is much more open sounding. This amp is killer too!!

This sounds great. Vs are best (though I have been on a long strat kick for a bit). How does it feel on you? I am betting it is a physical adjustment from LP land, certainly; even if it's the same scale.

I'm kinda curious about this too because it's my understanding they're the stock 496r/500t pickups. The guy was the original owner from 2004 and said it was all stock.
I expected to hate them but yeah they drive the amp hard but still sound nice and warm. It's been a while since I tried the Gibson ceramics but I remember them being super harsh and not my thing.
