Thanks! I played before but I didn't have anybody to show me anything to take the next big step, so I eventually lost interest because I couldn't pick up much watching the stage/live. Now that there are so many people on YouTube doing covers, guitar lessons, demos and the like, I have picked up the desire again. Now if I can just make time to plink around.

Welcome! A good way to jump in is to click the "View New Posts" link and just reply to any thread that's striking your fancy. Also, don't be shy about starting your own threads if you have any specific questions. There are a ton of knowledgeable gear guys here (myself included), excellent players in just about any genre (myself not included). At best you'll get good advice, at worst you'll get pictures of girls with big breasts.
