More playing with ozone

Post by NinjaRaf »

One of the Faces of Many songs, just re-did it with the Mesa. We are going to track drums for this soon, I guess. Used the ozone mastering assistant again. I tried a few difference reference songs this time and picked the best one.

Can’t bitch. Sounds pro bro. Only listening on my phone but it’s all there.

I know there are a few guys that bitch/can hear some shit about Ozone but I don’t have those ears. This kills to me.

I gotta say, I'm not a modern metal fan but, it was pretty easy listening to that whole clip! :rawk: :rawk: :rawk: :rawk:

Dig that tasty arrangement and the song-within-a-song lead.
I always liked your singer... he has some interesting range and he's doing some creative things in this song.
Very cool tune... and then some!!!!

Thanks dudes!

I've had this song written for a while. Like most, it just started off with the main riff with the bend in it, and expanded actually pretty quickly and easily from there. When I say a while, I think like 3 years or something lol. I wrote the solo on mushrooms in a cabin in the mountains lol.

Anyway, we are going to track drums for this song soon at my house, so I wanted to mess around with the mastering stuff a bit more and see if I can get things where I want them.

Damn, this sounds great... I would love to see you guys live!
The song ass kicking, the lead is perfect for this too :rawk:

I have been messing with the match eq in Logic, but listening with your other thread and this it seems like Ozone might be the ticket.

Damn
