New incoming delay/reverb

Post by rock flag and eagle »

I decided to take a chance on the Keeley Caverns V2, most videos show it being used for very ambient tones, but it also seems like it can be used subtle as well. I figure it this works out, I can replace 2 pedals with one.
Maybe I'll sell off my Hardwire reverb since those prices have gone up stupid high.

The Keeley pedal is real nice, congrats!

More importantly, when the hell did the Hardwire pedals skyrocket!?

Dave Friedman has been hyping up the Hardwire Reverb because it has a legit Lexicon chip in it (which is true).
Then people found out the CM2 Overdrive is a Bad Monkey in a Hardwire case (also true).
And there is someone using their Tremolo pedal that hyped it up too. Can't recall who it is now.

The others are still selling at regular prices.

Nice grab on the Keeley, I have a V1 Caverns. I usually keep it in my bag to have a spare reverb or delay in case of emergency but it sounds great.

I feel stupid but today is the first time I decided to look up a Keeley Caverns. I've heard of this pedal on forums before but had never actually seen one. Holy shit, it's awesome!!! Perfect enclosure side for a dual function pedal and it sounds great. I am buying one for sure.

I wonder how close the reverb in the Keeley DDR I just got is? I'm still not blown away by the drive side of the pedal but the reverb and delay portion is really nice.

Great pedal! If you don't NEED tap tempo, its practically perfect. I use it when I need to get spacey...
