Oh shit - didn't realize who this was until I looked it up... Dude was in a hell of a lot of films I remember growing up. I did enjoy his portrayal of Gus Grissom in The Right Stuff, although I totally disagree with cowardly they made Gus look when the spacecraft was lost -but that certainly wasn't Fred Ward's fault.
