Thanks, bro.
It's essentially sci-fi / horror / fantasy with a healthy dose of comedy tossed in to lighten up the mood in between brutal battles and purely disgusting gore-filled messes.
Vampires in space. Space navy. Elite fighting forces with swords and knives sweeping through massive feral vampire hordes during The Vampire Wars, saving people, space stations and even entire planets. And a dude that could have grown up down the street from me having the opportunity to seek revenge on the vampire that turned him in the 1990s and has been ruling his life with an iron fist ever since. The main story set in 2575.
That's book one. It only gets weirder from there.
My question to all this is where can I get a copy?

Thanks, man. I appreciate the feedback you've given me over the last few weeks.

For you or anybody interested in a print copy, hit me with a PM. It'll take a bit as I'm still awaiting proof copies, but based on past history with this particular printing house, that's only like a week out.
For the moment, just let me know hard or soft cover so I can put together an estimate of how many to have shipped straight to me and then I can ship them out to my bros.
If you want an ebook, that's gonna be available soonish. Sometime in the next two weeks, haven't gotten a firm timeline on that just yet.

Re: I done did a thing.
eBook appears to be available through Amazon & the distributor. Should hit Apple Books and the others by next week.

Search for "The Hollander Chronicles". Turns out putting "Messiah" and "Death" into a book search gets you a lot of religious studies.
Who knew?
Still waiting on my proof hard copies so I and my live-in editor-in-chief (wife) can approve distribution.

Re: I done did a thing.
First printing has started shipping. First twenty get customized sigs. Like, for instance:
Service with a smile:
Otherwise known as the DBN/Butterdungeon sig.
And customized thank you cards:
Of course, for those wanting them as gifts, I can be polite:
Rest of the first printing is coming in a couple/three weeks. I'll be having a giveaway of a few hard(lol)covers and few softcovers when that happens.

That's a shockingly close match to what I see in my head for that character.

Re: I done did a thing.

Awesome.
DBN got to read a pre-production copy before I even had all the character traits finalized. Be interested to see what ya think now that Annie's got her tells out there in the open.
And fretless, definitely wanna hear what you and/or your gal think.
#2 is approaching pre-print day fast. I'm thinking another couple weeks. Shiz gettin' cray-cray as the captain and her crew are getting drowned in insanity.

Re: I done did a thing.
Thanks, fretless. Considering I know jack and shit about cover design, I didn't think I did too terrible.
Got the most frightening note of my life from my dad a couple days back. It started,
Then a little about the first couple chapters.
Yikes.
Now the countdown begins to his reaction to:
1. The family slaughter (limbs torn off, heads pulled from torsos, blood spraying everywhere, children murdered in front of parents)
2. The date / tour where the high-point is making out in a shuttle in deep space
3. Cap's description of her first military battle (drenched in blood, bodies of her enemies laying around her in piles, naked prisoners freed and running wild in the streets)
4. This quote:
5. Main character beating the fucking shit out of his "father"
6. Sex scene
I know my sense of humor comes from dad, and some of my love of horror movies, but not sure how deep he wants to step into my brain. This could result in a fun conversation later.
Already received my first revenue on it, which shocked the shit out of me as I haven't really had time to implement my plan of attack on advertising / getting reviews / getting word out.
BTW, anybody interested in a freebie, I got three hardcovers and three paperbacks available for freebies. PM me an addy, cover type preference, and whether you'd like it signed or not. First come, first serve. Woo.

Fantastic, she thought to herself. A blood soaked blonde carrying a naked toddler. That'll make a great promo image.

First one, prolly not. By book two or three though? When the real on-board fighting starts up? Fairy hunts, dragons forced through dimensional rifts, demon exorcisms, angel hunting, sheeit. It's a veritable smorgasbord of action scenes. Pierced here or there by funnies.

Dude this is awesome!
Are you considering audio book versions? Also can I be the narrator?? Lol!
Your explanation of the series is right up my alley for sure so I’m stoked to see the final product!

I haven't thought about audio versions yet.

If you're curious about book one, I'd be happy to send you one. Book one is as complete as it's gonna get.
Book two is getting close. It's currently in "let it sit" mode while I spruce up the draft for book three before going back for a last editing pass.
Book two ups the funny a TON. There's nights drinking, pranking people, fights, bay ball games (this is serious fun), tons of supernatural lore building, cap losing her mind and going on a "cursing like only a sailor can" rant about how fucked they are involving three dildos being crammed up an asshole and video equipment (use your imagination and you still won't get close), angels, demons, fairies, a dragon, witches, God (he wants to be called Dan now, it's a whole thing), Lucifer / the Devil, Azriel, the angel of death (which causes our main dude from the 80s to scream out "SLAYER!" every time he's mentioned) and more.
Sounds messy, but according to the people that have read the drafts it's both fun and tells a compelling story in practice.

Re: I done did a thing.
For those that climbed aboard with book one? Here we go again.
Covers are hokey as shit, but it fits the theme I guess.
If book one was cray? Book two is cray squared.
We start with a bang, a shuttle explosion to be precise, head into a night of drunken stupidity that will live on as near legendary proof the commander is an insane man, the captain and her girls take a night off to party too, then, to quote a certain character, "That's when things got weird."
A fairy hunt in a maintenance corridor goes wrong.
A dragon in engineering? WTF?
A trail of supernatural creatures is chasing them down.
Angels start showing up and causing mayhem.
God decides the captain needs to be stopped.
Oh, and a few demon pop-ins just for good measure.
Book one was a very contained story. Book two starts the process of the ongoing story, introducing the main secondary cast and starting the ramp-up of all the nutty fantasy creatures that inhabit this universe.
PM me for copies. If you have a signed/numbered first book, let me know what the number was and I'll match it on the second for you. Hit me, bros.

3 years, bro. I'm doing a six-month release cycle, or trying to. Though, I doubt the story is told in six. Maybe "season one" will be done in six. LOL.
